Ingredients
Waffle
- 200 g Medium protein flour
- 60 g Cornstarch
- 50 g Sugar
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- ½ tsp Baking soda
- 2 Eggs
- 2 Egg yolks
- 100 ml Milk
- 100 ml Cream
- 70 g Butter
Chicken Katsu
- 500 g Chicken thigh fillet
- 5 g Chicken stock powder
- 2 g Black pepper powder
- 2 g Garlic powder
- 3 Eggs
- 100 g Bread crumbs
- 100 g Medium protein flour
Extras
- 6 slices Prochiz Cheddar Slices
- 12 Sunny-side-up eggs
- 50 ml Honey
- 12 g Black pepper

INSTRUCTION
Waffle:
- Mix the medium protein flour, cornstarch, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda until well combined (sift dry ingredients before use).
- Add milk, cream, and melted butter, then stir until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and egg yolks until slightly fluffy, then add to the waffle batter. Mix again until evenly combined.
- Pour about 1 ½ ladles of batter into the waffle mold and cook until golden brown.
Chicken Katsu:
- Cut the chicken thighs in half, then pound them lightly to flatten.
- Season the chicken with stock powder, black pepper, and garlic powder. Let it sit for a while.
- Coat the chicken with flour, dip into beaten eggs, then coat with bread crumbs until evenly covered.
- Fry the chicken katsu in hot oil until crispy golden brown and cooked through.
Assembly:
- Cut the waffle in half. Place a sunny-side-up egg, a piece of chicken katsu, and half a slice of Prochiz Cheddar on top.
- Cover with the other half of the waffle, drizzle with honey, and sprinkle black pepper on top.
