Baked Bread Pudding with Creamy Chiz Custard Sauce

Ingredients

BREAD PUDDING:

  • 1 pack White Sandwich Bread
  • 750 ml Liquid Milk
  • 200 gr Butter
  • 200 gr Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 160 gr Prochiz Premium Cheddar, grated
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

 

CHEESE CUSTARD:

  • 350 ml Milk
  • 160 gr Prochiz Spready
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 70 gr Sweetened Condensed Milk

INSTRUCTION

  1. In a saucepan, combine the liquid milk, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, butter, and salt.
  2. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring until the butter is completely melted and all ingredients are evenly mixed. Remove from heat.
  3. Tear or cut the white bread into pieces and place them into aluminum cups or a large baking dish. Distribute the grated Prochiz Premium Cheddar over the bread.
  4. Pour the prepared warm milk mixture over the bread and cheese in the aluminum cups, ensuring the bread is fully soaked.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (340°F) for 40 minutes, or until the pudding is set and golden brown.
  6. In a saucepan, combine the milk, spreadable cheese, sweetened condensed milk, and cornstarch.
  7. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture comes to a boil and thickens to a sauce consistency.
  8. Remove from heat and allow the cheese custard to cool down.
  9. Once the bread pudding is finished baking and slightly cooled, pour the prepared chiz custard sauce generously over the top.
  10. Serve and enjoy!
